President Hadi receives UN Secretary-General Adviser

SANA'A, Sep.06 (Saba) – President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi received Thursday Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Jamal bin Omar and his accompanied delegation that is visiting Yemen after participating in donor meeting hosted in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

After welcoming the UN official, President Hadi valued his concern and the international community's as well to succeed the political settlement in Yemen via implementing the Gulf initiative and the Security Council resolution Nos.2014 and 2051.

The President wished to respond and contribute in carrying out development projects by donors' countries, noting to the difficulties impeding the development in Yemen which needs to mobilize the international and regional community's efforts to overcome the country's crisis.

For his part, Bin Omar expressed his pleasure over this visit which comes in the context of following up the implementation of political reconciliation in Yemen, referring to the huge achievements attained in the path of carrying out the Gulf initiative till holding the national dialogue conference as being the only way to end Yemen's crisis.
