Govt keen to activate partnership with national private sector

RIYADH, Sep.05 (Saba)-Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Sadi has confirmed the government's keenness to activate partnership frames with the national private sector so as to contribute to face the major challenges.

In a speech at the opening sessions of the second day of the Riyadh donors conference dedicated to the private sector and community-based organizations, al-Sadi said that that are serious trends by the government to offer a lot of qualitative facilities to enhance the attractive investment environment in Yemen ,and thus to create an effective partnership between the government and the national private sector institutions.

He noted that the the government is ready to formulate a vision of partnership with the private sector and community organizations based on the elements of transparency and fair distribution of management and services.

For his part, Director of of the Saudi Export Program, Ahmed Al Ghanim, in a similar speech confirmed the Program's keenness to enhance the flow of Saudi exports to the Yemeni markets, praising in this regard the level of bilateral cooperation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in the field of trade and commodity exchange.

Al Ghanim called on the private sector institutions in Saudi Arabia and the GCC States to invest in Yemen, stressing the importance of Yemeni government's commitment to provide the ingredients attractive investment environment.

The participants reviewed in sessions of the second day of the donors' conference, a working paper submitted by the Yemeni private sector institutions focused on clarifying the vision of the private sector to the fruitful partnership with the government.
