USA President's assistant telephones President Hadi

SANA'A, Sep. 04 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on Tuesday a phone call from Assistant to the USA President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan.

President Hadi and Mr. Brennan reviewed the outcomes of the donor meeting started in Riyadh on Tuesday to help Yemen to address the difficult situation in Yemen as well as the latest developments in the country under the Gulf initiative.

They also discussed the arrangements for the expectant visit of Hadi to the USA and for the meeting of Friends of Yemen to be held late in September in New York.

Mr. Brennan stressed that the USA would support Yemen to carry out the Gulf initiative till the end of the transitional stage and achieve the desired goals.

The President valued highly the USA's support and interests in the latest development in the country.
