SANA'A, Aug. 14 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation asserted Tuesday that the Riyadh donors meeting for Yemen is to be held as scheduled on September 4.
Chairing a consultative meeting with donors at the planning ministry, Mohammed al-Sa'adi said that it has been agreed to hold another meeting of donors in New York, USA, by the end of September concurring with the meeting of Friends of Yemen.
He reviewed with the donors the arrangements for the donors meeting, saying that all documents required to the Riyadh meeting have been completed, topped by the two-year recovery economic plan and a report on Yemen's humanitarian needs as well as two papers from private sector and civil society organizations.
The Riyadh meeting will be dedicated to display the documents and studies, while the donors' financial pledges will be announced in New York meeting, al-Sa'adi said.
Director General of the economic studies in the ministry Mansor al-Bashiri said that the consultative group of Yemen and development partners would convene on September 5-6 under the sponsorship of the Saudi government.
