GCC shows full support for Hadi's efforts for change and reforms
[09/August/2012]

RIYADH, Aug. 09 (Saba) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States asserted on Thursday their full support for President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts for change and reforms.

In a statement he made today, GCC Secretary General Abdulatif al-Zayani welcomed the decisions President Hadi has issued to re-construct the armed forces under the GCC-brokered initiative.

It is a significant step to build confidence, reinstate the state and law's control and strengthen the role of the armed forces in maintaining security and stability of Yemen and protecting its sovereignty and independence, al-Zayani said.
