Qaeda bomb-maker and six Arab operatives killed in Yemen

SANA'A, Aug. 07 (Saba) - One of the most dangerous elements of al-Qaeda in Baidha'a province and six others from different Arab nationalities have been killed, the high security committee said Tuesday.

An official source in the committee said that a security operation was carried out in Manaseh area led to kill Abdullah Awadh al-Masri, also known as Abu Osama al-Marebi, who is a bomb-maker.

The operation also resulted in killing six of al-Qaeda operatives, who are Abu Ja'afar al-Iraqi (Bahraini), Abu al-Bara'a al-Sharori (Saudi), Abu Musa'ab al-Nasri (Egyptian), Abu Hafsah al-Mesri (Egyptian), Abu Hafsah al-Tounisi (Tunisian) and Ebrahim al-Sakhi (Yemeni).

Last Saturday, the security authorities killed three terrorists were on a vehicle in al-Qaten district of Hadramout governorate and injured two others.

These operations came under the continuous efforts of the security apparatuses to combat terrorists and encounter al-Qaeda organization, the source said.
