Yemen, FAO discuss developing improved seeds production

SANA'A, Aug.06 (Saba)- Yemen and the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) discussed on Monday ways to develop the productivity of improved seeds and focusing on important food crops.

This came during a meeting gathered here Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Farid Mujawar and the international expert in the FAO, Naqid Khamis al-Tamimi.

The meeting reviewed the last visit of the international expert to the General Corporation for propagation of improved seeds in Dhamar province.

They stressed the importance of finding qualification programs for the cadres of the corporation and supporting the internal test system and developing the devices and laboratories in the corporation.
