President meets national dialogue's preparatory committee

SANA'A, Aug. 05 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Sunday with members of the preparatory technical committee of the comprehensive national dialogue.

President Hadi talked about the importance of the meeting, which is the first since the formation decree issuance on 14 July, to the comprehensive national dialogue that would forge the new future of Yemen.

Hadi indicated to the situation in the country, saying since the outbreak of crisis early in 2011, the situation was difficult and critical at the various security, economic and political areas.

The Gulf initiative was a honorific solution to all parties and enabled to end to the critical circumstances and open a new horizon of peace and dialogue based on the initiative's terms, the President said.

He said that the international community supported tackling the crisis in Yemen peacefully to maintain the security and stability in the region as "Yemen's instability will endanger the national, regional and international interests."

We all are responsible to overcome the consecutive crises in the country, Hadi said.

During the meeting, President Hadi reviewed with the committee's members several issues concerning the tasks of the committee.
