SANA’A, Aug. 03 (Saba)- The Italian ,who was kidnapped by a citizen earlier this week in the capital Sana’a, was released Thursday midnight, an official source at Interior Ministry has confirmed.

The source made it clear, in a statement to Saba, that the release of the Italian , who has been abducted and transferred to Mairb province, has come after efforts made by the ministry that received presidential directives to follow his case and free him safely.

The Italian’s kidnappers handed him over to the leadership of the local authority in Marib at midnight, the source added.
