Yemeni-American military cooperation discussed

SANA'A, July 30 (Saba) – Commander of Air Forces and Air Defence Rashed Naser al-Janad met Sunday with Commander of the U.S. Air Forces Central Command David Goldfein, who currently visiting Yemen.

During their meeting, the two officials reviewed the military cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and armies in training and rehabilitation areas as well as ways to boost them in order to serve the Yemeni-American common interests.

Al-Janad noted to the huge tasks of the air forces in pursuing the terrorist elements in Abyan and Shabwa provinces.

For his part, the U.S commander expressed his congratulations to al-Janad of being appointed as a commander for the air forces and air defence, affirming his country's readiness to offer the various needed support for the Yemeni air forces.
