Situation is still complicated, President says
[01/July/2012]

SANA'A, July 01 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi said on Sunday that the situation is still tough and complicated, stressing that national powers' task now is to end such situation.

During his meeting with the executive committee of the National Council head by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa, President Hadi stressed that the government's urgent task is to work with strong resolve to save Yemen from the current complex circumstances and carry out the Gulf initiative.

The international consensus and the recently emerged UN Security Council resolutions will inevitably help Yemen to get out of the crisis, Hadi said.

The change has occurred. Nevertheless ambitions are high, the national comprehensive dialogue will meet them, via the constitutional and electoral reforms as well as upgrading laws, he said.

The President also reviewed the latest developments in the national arena and the achievements and deterrents of the implementation of the Gulf initiative.
