SANA'A, June 18 (Saba)- Defense Ministry said on Monday that Commander of the South Military Region Maj. Gen. Salem Qatan was killed as well as his driver and one of his guards in a suicide attack in Aden.

" A suicide bomber was watching the Qatan's convoy, and as soon as he arrived in front of Saber Hospital in Al-Mansour district in Aden province, the suicide bomber threw himself on the car of the
commander", an official source at the Defense Ministry said.

Five people passing in the street, including two women were injured in the incident, the source added.
