U.S. to continue to support Yemen in countering terrorism

SANA'A, June 17 (Saba)- The U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Firestein confirmed on Sunday that his country will continue to support Yemeni security services in the fight against terrorism.

This came during his meeting with Interior Minister Major General Abdul-Qader Qahtan, in which the two sides discussed relations of cooperation and security coordination between the two countries and ways of boosting them ,especially in countering terrorism.

Qahtan praised the U.S. support to Yemen in various fields, particularly in the security field.
