[11/June/2012]

SANA'A, June 11 (Saba) - The Supreme Committee on Crude Oil Marketing approved on Monday the crude oil sales for August July 2012, estimated to be 3.3 million barrels.

In its meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa, the committee agreed to sell 2,950,000 barrels out of the full quantity of Masila crude oil to Unibic Company, which has presented the best bid worth 23 cent a barrel plus Dated Brent.

The committee authorized the technical committee to offer the remaining quantity (350,000 barrels) to all contenders at the official price approved for August 2012 or to be deferred to September 2012 sale.

Concerning Marib crude oil, the committee approved selling the full quantity to be available after fixing the oil pipeline to Aden Refinery Company at the dated Brent price (without any discount or rise).
