U.S. to support justice sector in Yemen with $ 10 mln

SANA'A, June 10(Saba)- Yemen and U.S. discussed here on Sunday the project of program to support the justice and security sector in Yemen, to be funded by the U.S. with $ 10 million.

This came during a meeting gathered here Minister of Justice Judge Murshid al-Arashani and Director of Justice Sector Program at the U.S. embassy in Sana'a ,Robert Wong.

Judge al-Arashani praised the U.S. role in supporting the trends of the Yemeni government in the current stage, wishing that the U.S. program is the start of a future cooperation to support the justice sector in Yemen.

For his part, the U.S. official confirmed that his country will work along with the partners in the European Union and the Gulf states to support Yemen so as to enable it to come out of the current crisis.
