SANA'A, June 10 (Saba)- President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi and Prime Minister Mohammed Basindwa met on Sunday the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen Abdullah al-Mazroui.

During the meeting, they talked about the preparation of a mechanism to distribute the emergency food assistance pledged by UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Yemeni people facing difficult circumstances.

President Hadi paid gratitude to Sheikh Khalifa for helping the Yemeni people, pointing out these noble stances underline the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and their peoples.

He also ordered the government to allocate local funds for requirements of the distribution of the UAE emergency food assistance.

The UAE president Sheikh Khalifa has allocated AED 500 million for purchasing emergency food assistance to Yemeni people.
