SANA'A, June 07 (Saba) - The armed forces battled on Monday with al-Qaeda in fighting resulted in killing 23 militants in Zinjibar and al-Qud areas of Abyan province, a military source said on Tuesday.
The Defense Ministry's website quoted the source that a Pakistani and a Somali were among the killed militants.
He added that clashes left also one soldier dead and another wounded.
