US to cooperate with Yemen to prosecute al-Qaeda

CHICAGO, May 23 (Saba) – The United State (US) has expressed its deep concern towards the extremism and terrorism in Yemen, pledging to cooperate with Yemen to prosecute al-Qaeda leaders.

In a press statement after the conclusion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, the American President Barack Obama talked about the worry of US from al-Qaeda and its activities in Yemen.

Obama also referred to the commitments of the US to work with Yemen to follow-up al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen in order to eliminate them.
