RIYADH, May 22 (Saba) –Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi met here on Tuesday with the European Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva.

At their meeting, al-Sa'adi and Georgieva discussed sides of joint cooperation in humanitarian aspects in the light of the support allocated from the EU for humanitarian issues in Yemen.

The importance of accelerating and increasing the support identified for Yemen to meet its needs, particularly those which related to the conditions of the displaced and refugees was reviewed.

The minister expressed the appreciation of Yemeni government towards the growing support of the EU and its keenness to prop up the country's efforts in the development process.
