SANA'A, May 15 (Saba) – Yemen and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) reviewed here on Tuesday efforts to establish a national independent human rights' authority.
Minister of Human Rights Houriah Ahmed Mashhour and the UNDP's Rule of Law, Justice and Security Advisor Alejandro Alvarez discussed cooperation sides between the ministry and program in human rights and freedom issues.
They also talked about the support of the UNDP for the ministry's programs and activities such as preparing a national strategy for human rights.
