SANA'A, May 14 (Saba) - The International Fund of Agricultural Development (IFAD) has allocated $27 million to finance a new support program for Yemen in cooperation with European Union (EU).
In addition, IFAD presented a financing grant of $800,000 for ministries of planning and international cooperation, finance, agriculture and social affairs as well as one active civil organization.
The financing allocations were revealed by the IFAD Country Programme Manager for Yemen Omer Zafar during his meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi.
Al-Sa'adi hailed the IFAD's contributions to support the development areas in Yemen, expressing the government's keenness on enhancing the cooperation with the Fund.
