SANA'A, May 11 (Saba) – Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi and Minister of Human Rights Houriah Mashhour returned home on Friday after participating in the 27th session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
Mashhour made clear that the session, which concluded its actions on Thursday in Beirut, focused on social justice and sustainable development subjects in Arab world.
Yemen addressed in its presentation the need of 200 job opportunities annually, she said, adding this can be done via national and foreign investments and private sector as well in order to pep up Yemeni economy.
The minister also noted that the session came out with recommendations to be presented at the Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development that will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 20-22, 2012.
