SANA'A, May 09 (Saba) –Minister of Legal Affairs Mohammed Ahmed al-Mikhlafi discussed here on Wednesday with Turkish ambassador to Yemen Fazli Churman sides of joint cooperation between the two countries in legal field.

Al-Mikhlafi reviewed the ministry's efforts to prepare legislation and laws promoting opinion freedom and protection of human rights.

He also praised efforts exerted by Turkey to prop up the democratic transition in Yemen.

For his part, the Turkish official valued the ministry's role in this regard as well as its role at the transitional period to set up new constitution and legislation .

Churman affirmed the support of the embassy in offering experience and consultation , particularly in areas of preparation of constitution, political parties' law and election law.
