Yemen takes part in NAM meetings in Sharm El Sheikh

SANA'A, May 08 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi headed Tuesday for Egypt to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to be held on 9-10 May in Sharm El Sheikh.

Al-Qirbi said that he would deliver Yemen's speech in the meeting that would emphasize the importance of the NAM's States under the ongoing circumstances and developments in the world, particularly in the relations between the NAM States, mostly have poor economies, with rich states.

The meeting will discuss achieving the sustainable development and dialogue among civilizations and religions and preserve peace, security and disarmament as well as various issues of common concerns, including the Palestinian cause.

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) now includes 120 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe and South America and Central America.
