SANA'A, April 24 (Saba) – The meetings of the 32nd session of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) concluded its works on Tuesday in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The meeting, which attended by Minister Agriculture and Irrigation Farid Mujawar, discussed several issues topped by reports of the AOAD general director and the executive council on the organizations' work during the years 2011-2012.
It also dealt with reports related to work implementation in the main programs and projects, particularly work progress in the joint action plan on agricultural development and food security in Africa and the Arab world.
The meeting requested the committee formed upon a decision by Arab League's Economic and Social Council for studying projects and programs to be submitted to the Social and Economic Development Summit which will be held in Riyadh in January 2013.
