SANA'A, April 19 (Saba) - Yemen Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) company said Thursday that the annual maintenance would be completed on Friday, nine days ahead of the original schedule.
LNG General Manager Francois Rafin said that the company has brought the annual maintenance forward after the gas pipeline was sabotaged on March 30.
The LNG company had to cancel six cargoes of liquefied natural gas exports were to be sent during the maintenance shutdown due to the last month attack, but all cargoes will be loaded on schedule in May, Rafin said.
He asserted that the company would increase LNG production to redeliver as much of the cancelled cargoes as possible before year end.
LNG General Manager expressed confident that the new security deployment plan already in progress is to reinforce the surveillance and protection of the pipeline.
