SANA'A, April 18 (Saba) – Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa received on Wednesday a phone call from Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullatif al-Zayani.

During the call, the two officials discussed distinctive relations between Yemen and the GCC in various fields as well as sides related to implementing the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism.

Al-Zayani told Basindwa that the Gulf states would stand beside Yemen and the constitutional legitimacy,asserting to offer all forms of required support.

He made reference to the visit of President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi to Qatar, adding the Qatari officials were satisfied on this visit and its fruitful results.

In return, the premier valued the GCC attitudes and its stands beside Yemeni people in different situations as well as its keenness to achieve security and stability in Yemen.
