SANA'A, April 15 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Sunday with President of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) Jim Boumelha and Yemeni Journalists Syndicate (YJS) head Yassine al-Masaoudi.
During the meeting, the IFJ president talked about the importance of the press the future of the countries, not only in Yemen but also in every country in the world.
He indicated to his meeting with YJS board's members, who had talked about several issues and concerns about the press in Yemen as well as their aspirations for the country's future.
The President listened to a report on the nature of the IFJ president's visit to Yemen. It pointed to the danger and difficulties the Yemeni journalists have suffered from during covering the 2011 crisis.
YJS's head expressed the appreciation of the syndicate and all journalists of the great actions taken by President Hadi to implement the Gulf initiative and the UN Resolution 2014 to overcome the last year crisis and its repercussions.
President Hadi praised the national efforts the journalists had made to reveal the truth and the facts of the efforts to resolve the crisis in the country.
