Yemen, Socialist International discuss political cooperation

SANA'A, March 19 (Saba) – Yemen and the Socialist International has discussed aspects of cooperation in areas of political and democratic development.

At their meeting, Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa and Secretary General of the Socialist International Luis Ayala talked over the ongoing changes happened due to Yemen's last events in the previous year.

They also reviewed efforts exerted by the government of reconciliation to overcome the country's various challenges.

Basindwa valued the role of the Socialist International in supporting rights and freedom, noting to the strength of the relations tying Yemen and the organization.

For his part, Ayala expressed appreciation of the organization for the sacrifice of Yemeni people to make change, asserting to offer support for the government.
