Two al-Qaeda elements killed, one injured in Saada

SANA’A, March 11 (Saba)- Local sources in Saada province have confirmed the killing of two al-Qaeda affiliated elements and the wounding of another in an exchange of fire with gunmen from Yemeni tribesmen in Kitaf District.

The sources said that the clashes resulted in the killing of two al-Qaeda elements, Ali Naser al-Tays and Abdullah Hassan al-Tays, and the injury of Arif Saleh Rashid.

The sources also pointed out that the clashes erupted while offering condolences on the killing of Abdullah Hadi al-Tays, an al-Qaeda affiliated element.

Al-Tays was killed in clashes with security forces in Marib last week.
