SANA'A, Dec. 29 (Saba) - The Parliament ratified on Wednesday a general budget for fiscal year 2011 of about YR 1.520 trillion.

After vote on the chapter by chapter budget, the parliament's members approved the budget, whose resources were estimated at YR
1,519,589,252,000.

The state general fund for 2011 were estimated at YR 1,835,956,546,000 with a deficit in the budget was estimated to have grown to YR 316.4 billion.

In an extraordinary meeting held on Saturday [December 4], the Cabinet approved the 2011 budget draft.
