SANA'A, Dec. 26 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar was briefed here on Sunday on the arrangements for building the Grand National Library in the western areas of the Capital Sana'a.
During their meeting with the Premier, Chinese ambassador to Yemen Liu Denglin and director project of Grand National library said that the library worth $ 40 million financed by the Chinese government is to be put up in a total area of 80,000 m².
The Chinese ambassador pointed to the booming economic and trade exchange between the two friendly countries, which reached unprecedented levels in the current year, affirming he would spare no efforts to boost up such relations and to encourage Chinese companies to enlarge investments in Yemen.
For his part, Mujawar expressed his appreciation of the Chinese role in supporting development fields in Yemen, valuing the ongoing growth in the Yemeni-Chinese cooperation relations in fields of policy, economic and culture.
It is worth to mention that National Grand Library will include a one million-book library, educational centre and large halls for conferences and others faculties.
