Yemeni court sentences Somali pirates to 5 years in jail

ADEN, Oct. 31 (Saba) - A Penal Court in Aden province passed on Sunday a sentence of five years for 10 Somali pirates convicted on piracy acts against fishing boats of Yemenis.

Chaired by Mohammed al-Apiadh, the court has acquitted three other Somalis for lack of evidence regarding the charges against them.

The court also ordered to confiscate all seizures in the case.
