Tourism minister receives Arab delegations

SANA'A, Oct. 25 (Saba)- Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih met on Sunday with a number of heads of Arab delegations who took part in the 2nd Arab Tourism Investment Forum, wrapped up yesterday in Sana'a.

He met with heads of delegations of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia and Lebanon separately.

During the meeting, they discussed Arab tourism investment issues and means of reinforcing inter-Arab tourism as well as facilitating movement of Arab tourists.

The minister reviewed the tourism development of Yemen during the past years, in addition to procedures taken by Yemen to secure tourism movement.

He pointed out that hosting the 20th Gulf Cup in Yemen comes in accordance with directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to project the importance of Yemen, its civil position and its capability to host such an important sports event.
