UK keen to enhance development in Yemen, UK official says

SANA'A, Sep. 08 (Saba) - A British official accented on Wednesday his country's keenness to enhance development efforts in Yemen via triggering Yemen's friends role.

During his meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, UK Foreign Office Spokesman Martin Day affirmed that UK is keen to advance the bilateral relations to realize the joint goals.

Al-Qirbi and Day talked over the arrangements for Yemen's friends meeting in New York in the current September, particularly in media coverage for the meeting.

Al-Qirbi hailed the positive role of the UK in propping up development and encountering challenges Yemen faces.
