Chinese medical missions' services in Yemen hailed

HODEIDAH, Sep. 05 (Saba) - Hodeidah Governor Ahmed al-Jabali praised on Sunday the great medical efforts exerted by the Chinese missions working in the governorate.

During his meeting with a delegation from Chinese Health Ministry, al-Jabali affirmed the importance of propping up health sector in the province in general and al-Thawra Hospital in particular.

For his part, the Chinese delegation's head said that the visit aims to get acquainted with the conditions of the medical Chinese missions working in Yemen as well as holding talks with Yemeni medical officials to promote the Yemeni-Chinese relations.

The delegation has provided a number of medical equipment for five hospitals in the country, including al-Thawra Hospital.

In a related context, the Chinese delegation paid a visit to al-Thawra Hospital in Hodeidah and was familiarized with the services exerting by the 35 Chinese cadres in the hospital, providing four more Chinese doctors to the hospital's staff in different specialties.
