SANA'A, Sep. 05 (Saba) – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has announced its intention to launch a three-year support program for Yemen at $369.8 million, almotamar.net reported on Sunday.
The program comes within a medium-term broader development plan set up by the Yemeni government.
The IMF declared, in a document entitled "Republic of Yemen - Note Program", the new program supports an agreement with the fund under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and was approved by the IMF Executive Council on July 30, 2010.
