BEIRUT, Aug. 04(Saba)- Yemen's ambassador to Lebanon Faysal Abu Ras conveyed on Wednesday condolences of Yemen to the Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on the death of two Lebanese soldiers and a journalist as a result of Israeli attacks on al-Odessah village in southern Lebanon yesterday.

Abu Ras reiterated Yemen's condemnation to the Israeli attacks on the Lebanese army posts and praised in the same time the heroic position of the Lebanese army in its response to those brutal attacks.

He confirmed Yemen's standing by Lebanon and the Lebanese right to defend its borders and territories and maintaining the safety of its citizens.

The Yemeni ambassador urged the international community to bear its responsibilities and pressure on Israel to implement the international resolutions related to Lebanon including the resolution No. 1701.
