Fisheries sector reframing project on table

SANA'A, July 28 (Saba)- Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed Shamlan discussed on Wednesday with the team of reframing fisheries sector in Yemen the final executive procedures to reframe the Ministry structure as well as the affiliated bodies.

The meeting reviewed the proposed alternatives by the team over new tasks and departments within the reframing project, in addition to what has been achieved in the past period in this regard and difficulties they faced.

The minister highlighted the importance of accelerating the achievement of the project due to its importance in organizing the administrative and technical aspects.

According to Word Bank experts, reframing the fisheries sector and finding out a national strategy for fisheries management is an urgent importance to improve this vital sector.
