Arab League, Yemen hold economic talks
[25/July/2010]

SANA'A, July 25 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil received here on Sunday the visiting delegation from Arab League, led by head of the Arab Grater Free Trade Zone (AGFTZ) Unit Mohammed al-Nusour.

The talks dealt with requirements of Yemen to implement the rest of agreements to join the AGFTZ in order to avoid the negative impacts of reducing customs fees and merge the Arab economies to promote the joint Arab cooperation.

The minister considered the AGFTZ as one of the most important achievements at the level of the Arab joint economic work in order to set up a joint Arab market, noting the importance of the delegation's visit to get acquainted with Yemen needs with respect to implementing the related agreements of the AGFTZ.
