Yemen, Tunisia discuss cooperation in tourism field

SANA'A, July 14 (Saba) – Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih met here on Wednesday with the Tunisian ambassador to Yemen Tawfiq.

Talks in the meeting dealt with mechanisms to send Yemeni cadres to Tunisia to study in the various tourist fields, as well as the cooperation areas in light of the protocols signed between the two brotherly countries.

In the meeting, al-Faqih praised the level of bilateral cooperation between the countries, noting the Tunisian experience in the tourism field.

He welcomed the Tunisian investments in the tourism field in Yemen, and invited the Tunisian Minister of Tourism to visit Yemen to partake in the Arab Tourist Investment Meeting to be hosted by Yemen in next October.

For his part, the Tunisian ambassador expressed his admiration for the tourist features and attractions that Yemen enjoys, pointing out the importance of expanding areas of cooperation between the two countries.
