ASMARA, May 26 (Saba)- Yemeni Ambassador to Eritrea Abdel-Kadir Hadi, lauded Eritrea's firm and clear stance as regards the issue of the Yemeni unity.

‘’And as such, the Yemeni people would never forget such a stance’’, he added.

Ambassador Abdel-Kadir further noted that such a stance emanates from existing historical, cultural and social ties between the two countries.

He went on to say that efforts are being made to reactivate the protocol agreements concluded earlier between Eritrea and Yemen in the domains of trade, media, tourism, marine resource and others.

He also asserted the readiness of both sides to enhance the strategic relations between the two countries.

The Yemeni envoy to Eritrea expressed congratulations to the two peoples of both countries on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the unity of Yemen and the 19th anniversary of Eritrea's Independence Day.

He also wished peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.
