New American ambassador to Yemen soon

SANA'A, April 29 (Saba) - The USA has announced a new ambassador to Yemen successor to the current ambassador Stephen Seche, whose diplomat term in Sana'a ends soon.

Well-informed sources told the weekly 26 September that the new ambassador is Gerald Feierstein. He has served as the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Feierstein has held many diplomatic posts in his country's embassies in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Lebanon.

The new ambassador is an expert in the region affaires.
