Yemen grants 20 % reduction for tourist ships charges

ADEN, April 17 (Saba) - Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation granted on Saturday a 20-percent reduction of port charges to the cruise ships for one year as from beginning of April.

A press release issued by the corporation said that the reduction was announced according to directions form the Minister of Transport to the heads of the Yemeni ports corporations.

The reduction came in realizing the objectives of the government and the Ministry of Tourism aiming to strengthen the tourism activities and to encourage the cruise ships to visit the Yemeni ports.
