Yemen wishes fruitful results from Yemen Friends Group meeting

SANA'A, March 21 (Saba)-Yemen wishes the meeting of Yemen Friends Group will come out with fruitful results that help Yemen to face its current problems.

In an interview with Mahatat Magazine, the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar wished that the meeting would enhance capacities of Yemen to face its ongoing challenges and problems.

Mujawar revealed that the establishment of the group would be announced officially in the meeting to follow up situation in Yemen.

He said that Yemen is facing big challenges including lack of resources, growing rates of poverty and unemployment in addition to need for further weakness in fields of electricity, road, health, waters and education.

The prime minister pointed out to the importance of receiving Yemeni labor in the Gulf markets as that would reflect positively in reducing rate of the unemployment.

Abu Dhabi to host meeting for Yemen's friends group soon

Abu Dhabi capital of United Arab Emirates is to host a meeting for Yemen's friends Group during the period from 28th to 29th March, UAE news agency (WAM) reported on Thursday.

The news agency added that UAE Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Khaled al-Ghith held a meeting with the commercial attaché of United States embassy in Abu Dhabi over arrangements for holding the meeting.

It is expected that the meeting would come out with establishing an international fund for development in Yemen.

Recently, Italy has suggested forming the group which includes top world countries and international organization to support the development process in Yemen as step to fight terrorist and boost security and stability in the country.
