SANA'A, March 21 (Saba)-Yemeni-UAE talks were held in Sana'a capital on Sunday over investment opportunities in Yemen.
The talks brought together Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf, Chairman of General Authority for Investments Salah al-Atar and assistant of UAE foreign minister for economic affairs Khaled al-Ghith.
They discussed possibilities of developing the cooperation between the two countries in light of available investment opportunities in Yemen.
Al-Atar welcomed Emirates investments in Yemen, affirming concern of the authority and the Yemeni government to offer all facilities and care for the UAE investors to insure success of their projects.
For his part, the Emirates official said that two sides have talks to set up a number of investment projects in Yemen in fields of electricity, oil, gas and telecommunication.
He also affirmed concern of Emirates to develop relationship with Yemen.
