Arab citizen arrested, as applying for Yemeni ID

SANA'A, March 20 (Saba) - An Arab citizen was arrested, while he was applying for a Yemeni Identity Card (ID card) from the Civil Status Affairs office in Ghaidha city of Mahrah governorate southern Yemen, interior ministry said on Saturday.

The security authorities in Mahrah governorate said that the Arab man was arrested along with two Yemenis, one from Mahrah and the other from Abyan, who were helping him.

According to the security authorities said that the Arab man has entered Yemen illegally.

On the other hand, Aden coastguard said that they have seized a boat with 11 Somalis onboard. The Somalis, who were in bad health, were sent to the Marine Security Administration and from there to al-Jimhory Hospital in Aden to be hospitalized.

Meanwhile, a security patrol in Taiz governorate has captured eight
Ethiopians were wandering in Modhafer district western Yemen.

They were also transmitted to the competent bodies to take the legal procedures for illegal entrance.
