WB, CSOs hold workshop in Mukalla

MUKALLA, March 20 (Saba) - World Bank (WB) and Civil Society Organization (CSOs) held on Saturday a discussion workshop on collecting information in Mukalla city of Hadramout governorate.

The workshop focused on the process of collecting information through consultative meetings with representatives of CSOs, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, parliament and private sector.

The workshop aims to come out with an objective assessment of the Yemeni civil society's perceptions on the relationship with WB.

It discussed the mechanisms of presenting the results of consultative meetings and events to the concerned governmental bodies.

In the opening, the general director of ministry of social affairs and labor's office in Hadramout Darwish Swaid and WB's Senior Liaison Officer Samra Shaybani briefed workshop aims at assisting the concerned governmental bodies to implement the projects and developing the mechanisms of planning the relations between WB and CSOs to alleviate poverty via small enterprises.

They mentioned that the similar workshops have been implemented in three governorates of Sana'a, Taiz and Aden.
