Yemen calls for urgent conference over Zionist plots against al-Quds

SANA'A, March 18 (Saba)- Minister of Endowments and Guidance Hamoud al-Hitar called on Thursday Islamic and Arab ministers of endowment and religious affairs to hold urgent meeting to find out means of facing current Zionist plots targeting Al-Quds.

Addressing a festival organized by the Al-Quds Corporation in Yemen, al-Hitar voiced readiness of Yemen to host the meeting, affirming position of the Yemeni leadership, government and people in supporting the Palestinian issues.

He pointed out to the position of President Ali Abdullah Saleh in supporting the Palestinian issue,

For his part, Abdul Majid al-Zandani, Chairman of Eman University urged Palestinian factions to overcome their entire dispute, and unify their efforts to face Zionist plots that target holy Muslim places.

A member of Shoura Council Sadq al-Ahmar called on all Arab and Islamic governments to offer all kinds of support resistance of the Palestinian people.
