VP meets PFLP political bureau member
[17/March/2010]

SANA'A, March 17 (Saba) - Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi met here on Wednesday with member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Maher al-Taher.

Hadi and al-Taher discussed several issues on the developments in the Palestinian arena, the international current attitude towards the Palestinian people's plundered rights and the Arab and international requests the Israeli entity has not responded to, emphasizing that such entity has never implemented one of the international and UN resolutions since 1950s.

Hadi reiterated the Yemeni firmed stance backing the Palestinian right to establish their independent state on their national soil with al-Quds as its capital.

The Vice President said that Israel is not serious and does not will just peace based on the Arab initiative and the known UN resolutions, calling for the unity of the Palestinian people.

Al-Taher voiced his appreciation of the Yemeni leadership's support to the Palestine cause, affirming that the Palestinian people valued the role Yemen plays for the regional issues.

The Palestinian people considers the Yemeni unification as one of the most significant historic Arab achievements.
